The Waiting Game

As the mother of three children, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to be pregnant three times. Each pregnancy was different but I thoroughly enjoyed being pregnant. Like, really enjoyed being pregnant.
The ability to conceive, to watch my belly grow along with my baby inside, was such an amazing experience and something I’ll remember forever. And just in case I might forget, I was one of those women that took belly pics — weekly.
I’ve heard horror stories about pregnancy, and while my pregnancies weren’t perfect, I’d do it all over again! For the most part, the whole pregnancy was easy. Heck, I’d even venture to say enjoyable.
The most difficult moments of my pregnancies were the waiting. I felt like I was always waiting on something. In the beginning I was waiting for confirmation of a heartbeat, then it was waiting to make sure all early testing came back normal, then it was waiting to find out the gender, then waiting for that horrible glucose test, then waiting for those weekly checks to see if things are happening, and then finally it was waiting for the arrival of that little bundle of joy!
It’s an all out waiting game, isn’t it?
And to make matters worse, I’m not a patient person. AT. ALL.
Becoming pregnant and having children changed my life and I’d love to hear more about your best or most difficult pregnancy moments.
