Gov. Rick Perry arrived to meet with Donald Trump at Trump’s 5th Avenue apartment just before 5:30 pm this evening.

Trump did not come outside to greet him, and Perry said nothing on his way in.

He did flash a Port Authority police patch as he entered the building.

The two gentlemen plan to go to dinner later.

Gov. Perry requested the meeting and Donald Trump agreed because he likes him as an individual, according to a source close to Trump.

The two have spoken several times before but had never met.
