Sep 29, 2011 9:53am

President Obama will spend the day pitching his jobs bill in a series of local TV interviews, two of them with stations in critical swing states.

At the White House this morning, the president will speak with WTVF-TV Nashville, Tenn.; WXII-TV Greensboro-Winston-Salem, N.C., and WESH-TV Orlando, Fla.

The president will focus on “the need for Congress to pass the American Jobs Act now to put more people back to work and more money in the pockets of working Americans,” according to the White House.

Obama will also meet privately today with Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
