Republican Group Under Fire for Email Featuring Obama Shot in Head

According to the chairman of the chairman of the Loudoun County Republican Committee, apparently some individuals mistakenly interpreted an image of Barack Obama as a victim of a violent crime. But they are WRONG! “Nothing could be further from the truth.”

And I love his apology! He places the blame on “anyone who viewed the image” who didn’t see it as just “lighthearted fun”.

The word SICK and DEMENTED doesnt go far enough for me.

This takes Political Correctness to a new level! – It was ‘all good’ when “Burn Bush” and “Hang Bush” jokes, slogans and cartoons were being spewed by left wing liberals!

That is a hate crime and should be punished as such!!

Monica, since the left wing liberals took control of the government, the only FREE SPEECH allowed is pro-liberal left wing speech! But don’t worry, change is on the way in 2012….

For what it’s worth- Bush bashing called for impeachment, not assassination- and for legitimate reasons, I might add, as Bush himself admitted that he knowingly lied to the UN and Congress in order to start a war (read his autobiography! He outright says it.), in addition to eliminating Habeas Corpus and illegal spying on U.S. citizens. But what has Obama done, besides pursue domestic policies that Republicans don’t like? It’s legitimate to not like the president and criticize his policies- but it’s not okay to be so utterly disrespectful.

If we didn’t already have a presidential assassination in our history books, this might not be a serious issue. But as it is, it’s very serious to create images like this. I don’t what the definition of treason is these days, but claiming the president isn’t an American citizen, calling him a Nazi, and implying he should be shot kind of ranks high up there, I would think.

Many are calling for the Secret Service and the FBI to track the Loudoun Republican Comittee and arrest them. Although they may not have announced it publicly, I am quite sure that they are ‘looking into the matter’. They don’t take this kind of thing lightly. Not when its the President. This was when I lived in Newport Beach, Ca., I no longer live there. But a friend of mine who I would call an efficiency expert (he went into troubled companies and redesigned them to become more profitable) was also a campaign director for several republican candidates for the California state legislature. My friend would sometimes have them meet at my house in order to stay away from cameras. The people I am speaking of were the candidates themselves, none of whom were poverty stricken. The suits they wore were Brooks Bros., their shirts were Perry Ellis. How I knew this was that they made a effort to point it out to me. One would think that they could purchase their own food and drink. I finally got my belly full of it and said no more.

It is time to just be an American not a party.

The most scary thought is that America has gotten this violent in a democratic society.
If we are not careful all these hate ideas will destroy us from within. We will not need to worry about terrioists

I think that the majority of Virginia Republicans showed some real class by condemning the Tea Baggers of Louden County. Certain elements of the Tea Party could care less about the fate of America so long as the KOCH BROTHERS adjenda is met. People do not stop and think that the dis-respect they show for the President shows the rest of the world just how Dis-Functional that America has become. America will never again be the GREAT COUNTRY we once was until we can set aside STUPIDITY and start working together for the benefit of all and not just the top 1 % of the ultra rich !!

The republicans have this misguided idea that because the economy is bad that they are automatically going to win this election. Americans know when this recession started and who is trying hardest to get us out of it. It’s not going to be about the economy but who the middle class sees as representing their interests the best.

The republicans need to hold their convention early, like right now. Add a blank that would stop this constant bashing of the President and come up with some realistic ideas. Refute Mitch McConnell’s claim that the only goal of the republicans is to defeat this President. Then go out and campaign on character, smarts and put their country ahead of their party.

If they don’t do this, this will be the most runaway democratic win in history.

SANDRA C. is right. As a democrat with many republican friends, good and caring people, I see their dismay as to what is going on in their party. We argue passionately for our causes but never attack each other personally. This started with the a small, radical, group in the tea party, who think defending their principals gives them the right to just criticize and name call instead of presenting their ideas.

Even though I would like to see President Obama win re-election, I would also like to see the Republican Party return to the GOP I knew, whose members were civil and intelligent.

Wonder where all the hate come from? Wonder why there are skinheads, white hate groups. Well, here’s your answer. The people that have the mind set to produce something so hateful and disgusting could only be of pure unlimited hate. Wonder why kids are so mean and hateful to the point they bully other kids for no reason? Well here’s your answer. They’re doing what they see their parents do ( don’t for minute forget have smart perceptive kids are). Our President deserves a whole lot more respect that’s given to him. He has brought no shame to this country , nor his family. So why all the hate? Can I simply say its because he’s black? I assure this is not the race card. Will someone please tell me why? I don;t want to hear its because its the state the Country in, job, unemployment, etc, etc. Because , remember and be fair its way like this when he took office. Also, you know as I do, everything he has tried to do to just start the economy the republicans have blocked it. Right, I’m sure you will agree if you’re going to be truthful. Also remember it took Bush eight years to make the mess, how do you expect President Obama or anyone else Dem. or Repub. to turn it around in lest than four years. YOU would to be MOSES.
The people that produced such a mean and hateful things should be afraid of living with such a black heart because it spill over to their kids.. just think about that. Its bad when you hate a person simply because they’re black. Its the only reason I can come up with for your actions. YOU ARE A SAD, SAD, SAD, UNFORGIVING BUNCH!

SMAHE TO AMERICANS. IT IS NOT JUST DIRTY GAME OF POLITICS. IT IS FROM A SECRET MIND OF ASSASINS. OBAMA IS FULLY AWARE OF THE RISK HE HAS WHEN HE WAS ELECTED AS PRESIDENT THAT THERE WILL BE MILLIONS OF REPUBLICANS LIKE TO ASSASINATE HIM LIKE MARTIN LUTHER KING JR., KENNEDY BROTHERS, LINCOLN.
FBI and CIA should investigate and queston this plot and cartoonist. Obama has to be very careful. If they do not win again there might be assasination. This is not a joke. The people’s criminal thoughts/ plans emerge from their subsconcious mind. This is a warning for President Obama. SHOCKING.

The people that are enraged by this take themselves too seriously and need to try to understand that it was a seasonal joke. I guess no-one remembers the effigies of Bush that were burnt or bullet holes in pictures of him. Then there was the one that made him look like Hitler. There was no moral outrage over those photos, why is there now? Hmmm, I really have no idea, do you?
