Game on. The Rick Perry presidential campaign has just unveiled the harshest and most slickly produced attack ad of Campaign 2012.

The ad hammers Romney on health care, his jobs record in Massachusetts and on past flip flops, saying “even the richest man cannot buy back his past.” The ad closes with a line from the last debate that Romney will undoubtedly hear over and over again: “There are plenty of reasons not to elect me.”

There’s no word yet from the Perry campaign on where or how much the ad will run. But a knowledgable GOP source unaffiliated with any of the candidates tells me Perry plans to unleash a $20 million ad barrage against Romney going into the early primaries.
