Obama Names Former Lobbyist Chief Domestic Policy Adviser

President Obama has appointed former lobbyist Cecilia Muñoz to serve as the new director of the Domestic Policy Council, the White House announced today.
“Over the past three years, Cecilia has been a trusted advisor who has demonstrated sound judgment day in and day out,” Obama said in a statement. “Cecilia has done an extraordinary job working on behalf of middle class families, and I’m confident she’ll bring the same unwavering dedication to her new position.”
Muñoz, the former senior vice president for the National Council of La Raza, was one of the former lobbyists for whom President Obama signed a waiver, permitting an exception from his campaign promise to “close the revolving door that lets lobbyists come into government freely.”
Currently the director of Intergovernmental Affairs and lead liaison to the Hispanic community, Muñoz succeeds Melody Barnes as the White House’s chief domestic policy adviser. Barnes left her post at the White House at the end of last year.

The new director of the Domestic Policy Council? Sounds like a nine to five job to me. And a former lobbyist at that. Does anyone still think the government isn’t bloated?

Have you ever met a liar that tells you one lie one minute then turns right around 15 minutes latter and tell you another lie that contradicts the first lie?There are good liars,bad liars and compulsive liars. Obam is not good at it because he always gets caught, bad liars forget what they lied about so therefor he must be a compulsive liar because he never stops.

Political connections and payback always trumps any promises that might have been made in order to get elected. Political rhetoric is secondary to the pragmatic reality that permeates the swamp known as D.C. Obama has figured this out.

The waiver for Muñoz was granted over three years ago. It is not a new waiver, nor ‘another’ campaign promise broken.

What the media wont say is that she is a former senior vice president of the National Council of La Raza. Policy Director you gotta be kidding me. That would be no different than the grand wizard of the Klan being policy director. How well would that settle? With this appointment you can bet immigration reform is all but shot in the foot. Oh it’s getting reformed alright. Open the doors come on in. Can you say amnesty……welcome illegals have more of my tax dollars.

He MEANT only lobbyist that don’t agree with me or help me feed my sheep. On the waiver, if appropriate it would have been spelled out in the promise, but promises with buts in them can’t fool the voters who have been trained to expect the truth.
