Latest Round in Obama-Romney Doggiegate all in Good Fun

President Obama lobbed the latest round in the campaign dog wars at last night's White House Correspondents Dinner. Sure, it was all in jest -  the president was doing the annual schtick expected of the commander in chief at this annual black tie affair - but will that put an end to the issue in this campaign? Don't bark on it.

It all started with growing dog lover outrage over  Mitt Romney's dog Seamus who, legend has it, was transported to family vacations in a crate on the roof of the car.

Then Romney supporters shot back with their own outrage over a line from President Obama's memoir in which he recalled being served dog while a child living in Indonesia.

And now Team Obama has created this mock campaign ad:
