'It's A Sad Day' - White House Comments on Death of Maurice Sendak

White House press secretary Jay Carney was asked on Air Force One if President Obama had a reaction to the death of beloved children book author and illustrator Maurice Sendak.

Carney said he hadn't yet talked to the president about the loss, but "every parent must be a little bit in mourning today, and to every child who grew up with that book it's a sad day."
