Wondering what tunes Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., is listening to these days? Well the young Florida senator has taken to Spotify, the popular music streaming service, to share his current go-to songs.

First posting the rundown in Politico's Playbook today, Rubio has cultivated a playlist ranging from rap, pop, rock, country to even Christian rock. Notably missing from the list is one of Rubio's favorite music artists, rapper Nicki Minaj.

An aide to Rubio confirms the senator made the playlist himself, and Rubio has personal ties to a few of the artists on his list.

Rubio and Pitbull hail from the same neighborhood in Miami, and the Florida senator has met Bono, the lead singer of U2, several times through Bono's ONE Foundation, an organization which Rubio supports. Rubio and his family are fans of American Idol, the show where Phillip Phillips gained his fame by winning last season, and Rubio tweeted out a round of support last month to a young Florida man, Lazaro Arbos, for making it on the show.

Rubio has made no secret of his affection for music in the past, voicing his l ove for artists like Pitbull and Eminem and expressing his disdain for the Bee Gees and disco.
