Supreme Court Justices Challenge Traditional Marriage in Their Own Lives – The American nuclear family has long been in flux, and the makeup of the Supreme Court, to a certain degree, reflects the changes in the notion of family. While there is not a same-sex union or relationship among the nine justices, several have been divorced, one has never married, one has no children, two justices have adopted children and another has as many children as there are Supreme Court justices. http://abcn.ws/WRKk2m (Jilian Fama, Alisa Wiersema)

What Congress Has Done on Guns and What’s To Come- The comprehensive gun package introduced in the Senate Thursday faces an uncertain future, with many Republicans and moderate Democrats quibbling over the universal background check requirement in the bill, but Congress has certainly already acted in some ways on guns, even passing a government spending bill that includes four gun provisions which actually loosen gun regulations. http://abcn.ws/Z6tT0W (Arlette Saenz)
