Chris Christie Launches First Ad Wednesday
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie launches the first TV ad for his gubernatorial re-election campaign Wednesday, a senior Christie adviser confirmed to ABC News.
Sixty seconds long, the ad will run in the major media markets of New York City and Philadelphia.
Christie's opponent, Democratic state Sen. Barbara Buono, has not launched any TV ads yet.
Christie is heavily favored in his race against Buono. The most recent Quinnipiac University poll conducted earlier this month showed Christie ahead of Buono by 32 percentage points, 58 to 26 percent. This compares with a 60 to 25 percent lead for Christie in a March 26 survey by Quinnipiac.
