How to Help the Women Rescued in Cleveland Kidnapping
Less than 48 hours after kidnapping victims Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michele Knight were freed from the home of Ariel Castro, a campaign is running to help support the women and organizations that will assist them.
Speaking in front of the home of Gina DeJesus this afternoon, Cleveland City Councilman Matt Zone announced the Cleveland Courage Fund, an initiative that will see 100 percent of proceeds going to the three women.
Zone announced that the page for the fund was already up on Facebook.
Cleveland's City Council Twitter page confirmed the same:

The Facebook page has been a bit buried beneath other tidbits of news so far today, only gaining around 100 "likes" at the time of this writing. It offers several ways to donate to the rescued women, accepting funds through the Cleveland Foundation at clevelandfoundation.org or by mailing Cleveland Courage Fund, care of the Cleveland Foundation, 1422 Euclid Ave. Suite 1300, Cleveland, Ohio. 44122.
