Dustin Moore's grandmother died last year but she has lived on in the virtual world thanks to Google Maps.

A street view of his grandmother's Portland, Ore., home shows her sitting on her stoop while reading the newspaper.

Moore decided to share the remarkable photo of his Grandma Alice with the Reddit community. He said he believes it is one of the last photos taken of his beloved grandma, taken less than a year before she passed away.

"I thought it was such an uplifting and awesome picture because it showed just how laid back and awesome she was," Moore wrote Wednesday. "Might not mean much to anyone else, I just thought I would share."

While the picture will one day be updated, Moore told ABC News' Portland affiliate KATU that he was delighted to know Grandma Alice was just a click away.

"I made the joke with my brother," he said. "I was like, 'Well, grandma's gone, but she still somehow lives on in Google and is watching over us."
