Just a week after dusting off his old Twitter account, our newly social media-savvy vice president joined Instagram.

And his first post is awesome.

Joe Biden's staff shared a photo of the VP's iconic Ray-Ban aviators, with a blurry Biden in the background:

According to the caption, Biden was preparing for his trip to Pennsylvania, where he and President Obama spoke about job training.

"Follow @VP for the latest from the Vice President, and the occasional aviators pic," the caption concludes.

This is hardly the first time the Bidenator has showed off his famous shades.
