Charlie Sheen will be joined on his new TV series by Selma Blair.

Deadline.com reports that Blair has been cast in the FX comedy "Anger Management" as the therapist and potential love interest of Sheen's character, a baseball player-turned-anger management counselor named Charlie. Shawnee Smith recently agreed to play Sheen's ex-wife.

"Anger Management," based on the Adam Sandler-Jack Nicholson film of the same name, premieres in June. The show will represent Sheen's first major project since he was fired from "Two and a Half Men" last year.
