On Friday, a settlement was reached in the divorce case of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, ABC station KABC in Los Angeles reports. The terms of the settlement are confidential, and the divorce will be finalized as soon as a judge signs the papers.

This marks the end of a bitter court battle between the reality star, 32, and her NBA player ex, 28. After only 72 days of wedded bliss, Kardashian announced that she had "decided to end my marriage," but Humphries refused to consent to a divorce. Instead, he asked for an annulment, alleging fraud. (He claimed Kardashian only married him for fame.)

"I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce," he stated at the time. "I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work."

No longer: Not only was Humphries a no-show at last week's settlement hearing, but he missed today's court appearance too. (Saturday, he's due in Brooklyn, N.Y., for a basketball game against the Chicago Bulls.)

Today, Judge Hank Goldberg asked Kardashian, who was present at the hearing, if there was nothing to be done to save the marriage. She smiled and said, "No."

There was one minor victory for Humphries today, however: a hearing on possible sanctions for the Brooklyn Nets forward as a result of last week's absence has been canceled.
