Jenny McCarthy is the latest sexy star to appear in an ad for fast food restaurant Carl's Jr., only this time she's shilling salads, not burgers.

"Thought I was a perfect choice," she says in behind-the-scenes footage released online today. "I'm already a little nutty and fruity, just put those in a salad."

The 40-year-old Playboy model is promoting the fast food chain's new cranberry apple walnut grilled chicken salad in a commercial for the campaign, titled "Forget You're Eating Salad."

The commercial will debut on television later in June, but the behind-the-scenes footage shows McCarthy spilling out of her strapless black dress and striking a series of seductive poses with the tossed greens.

Apparently, she enjoyed eating them too.

"They said I ate the most that any one has ever eaten," she says proudly in the video.

Earlier this year, the host of "The Jenny McCarthy Show" got affectionate with a Carl's Jr. burger in a faux audition for one of the fast food chain's sexy commercials.

McCarthy joins a list of celebrities who have endorsed Carl's Jr., including Kate Upton, Heidi Klum, Nina Agdal and Kim Kardashian.
