"Veep" star Anna Chlumsky has certainly had an exciting week. The former child star and her husband, Shaun So, both 32, welcomed their first child, daughter Penelope Joan, on July 11, her rep confirms to ABC News.

"She's a really good mix between my husband and me," she told People magazine, which broke the news. "When she's with him, you see him, and when she's with me, you see me. She's a perfect mix."

"We think she has my mouth," added Chlumsky, who earned her first-ever Emmy nod this morning, for her role in the HBO show, "Veep." "It's hard to tell. Even the color of her eyes, they are different in different light. But she has a really full head of hair!"

However, even that honor seems to pale in comparison to her new role as a mom.

"It's seriously the best thing," she said. "Holding her is fantastic. It's one of the more enjoyable things. It doesn't get boring at all. I could hold her all day!"

And maybe in September, she'll be holding an Emmy in the other hand as well.
