Rider Strong 'Spent Weeks Making' His Fiancee's Engagement Ring
It's like a scene out of a movie - A handsome, young man takes his girlfriend for a walk in the pouring rain and stops under a huge redwood tree to get on one knee and ask for her hand in marriage.
Well, what would you say if the ring he used to propose was one he spent weeks making himself?
Yeah, that's what Rider Strong, 33, did this past Christmas when he became engaged to Alexandra Barreto in Northern California, People magazine reports.

"I spent weeks making the ring in secret," Strong told People. "I carved the ring out of wax, cast it in white gold and had my dad make a wooden ring box for me. My dad made my mom's ring, so I was following in his footsteps."
Now, the duo is ready to tie the knot this Sunday, his rep confirms to ABC News.
"I'm incredibly lucky to be getting married to my best friend and partner-in-crime, Alexandra Barreto," Strong told ABC in a statement. "We're tying the knot at a summer camp in Oregon."
Strong added that it's going to be a fun-filled throwback weekend with "everyone sleeping in bunks, a ropes course, games, a talent show…let's hope it doesn't rain too much."
'Boy Meets World' - Where Are They Now?
Strong was a breakout star from 1993 to 2000 on "Boy Meets World," and has since had stints on "Kim Possible" and "Pepper Dennis," the show where the couple met in 2006.
