Jaclyn Smith may be a Hollywood icon, but the "Charlie's Angels" star revealed that her favorite place to be in the world is home.

The 68-year-old opened her lovingly restored Georgian colonial to People magazine's cameras recently, declaring it her "favorite place in the whole wide world," because "it's where my children grew up, which gives it so much history."

Smith has also tried to honor the home's own history by having it restored to an authentic Georgian colonial.

"Certainly the past is major inspiration for me," she said in the video.

"I like the past to reappear in the present," she continued, while admitting that her home has been a "work in progress. Every room I've done something to."
