Cookie swaps are the rage these days, and GoodMorningAmerica.com has joined in on the fun.  Foodnetwork.com and Yahoo! Shine have organized their very own virtual cookie swap, where members of the food community can share their favorite recipes.

We think you'll go crazy over this recipe for brownie cheesecake peppermint bars.  The bars, by our 2010 "12 Days of Cooking" Contest winner Lauren Brennan, are easy and perfect if you have to make something in a pinch.  (These might be a great idea for our office cookie swap on Friday, considering it's the night after the holiday party.)
