As Texas  Gov. Rick Perry fields questions regarding his opinions on Mormonism as he campaigns in Iowa, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has stayed far away from discussing his faith.

In fact, the last time Romney talked about his religion was back in a June interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan, where he appeared to grow irritated at Morgan’s unrelenting questions about Mormonism.

Romney said, “I’m not a spokesman for my church. If you want to learn more about my church ask my church.”
