We'll head overseas now to Europe where they're experiencing a second wave of this virus. Reporting its highly number of daily cases since mass testing began. Ian Pannell joins us from are London and officials are racing to try to stop this from spreading. Reporter: Yeah. That's right. The uk has recorded a record number of outbreaks, more than 65,000 new cases. Posing new restrictions with pubs to close at 10:00 P.M., and now workers who can work from home now told to do so. The prime minister being accused of bungling the handling of this crisis. So far although hospitalizations and death rates are rising, they're still far lower than during the first wave although as we know, there's often a lag between infection and death. Everyone watching to see if those numbers actually catch up. You're also looking elsewhere at rising cases in Europe, Ian. Italy, they have new restrictions on masks. Reporter: Yeah, that's right. In Naples, Italy, they're saying the masks are now compulsory outdoors 24/7, and Spain and France expanding restrictions with a rise in cases and in Scotland, students who have just gone back to college are being told they can't go to pubs or parties and it's banned for households to get together.
