Transcript for Powerful winter storm barrels toward Northeast
We move to that powerful winter storm barreling through the northeast. Strong winds in Pennsylvania causing this canopy to collapse at a gas station crushing cars and now that blast of winter weather is on the move. Ginger, of course, tracking it all for us. Good morning. You know that storm that did that damage also dropped an Ohio tornado. Its seventh on record. You can see the cone, a waterspout that turned into an ef-1. The storm is on the cold side and you have lake-effect snow bands going to Pittsburgh and could end up with 6 to 12 inches. Watertown, Syracuse all in the winter storm warnings but overall everyone will notice the wind. It's going to be very windy the next two days and super cold. Look at some arctic air coming in. It'll feel like 6 in Chicago and by Friday, 14 right here in new York City, Michael. All right, thank you so much,
