Now to a California school bus driver arrested accused of driving students under the influence. Thankfully in this latest incident quick thinking children on board sounded the alarm and called 911. Paula Faris is here with the story and, Paula, very, very smart kids. Yeah, really smart kids. Good morning, Michael. Those students knew something was wrong when the bus driver started speaking loudly and asking inappropriate questions and when they smelled alcohol on her breath, that's when they called authorities. This morning another incident involving a possibly intoxicated school bus driver. The school bus with possible hbd. Students are texting their parents. Reporter: California highway patrol arrested this woman, Desiree Abrams, facing several charges include child endangerment and driving under the influence. They pulled over the 33-year-old high school bus driver after students and parents called 911 claiming Abrams was speaking loudly, being inappropriate towards students and smelled like she had been drinking She was talking to everyone, kind of slurring her words. She was stopping people an asking them questions like what's your middle name. How old are you, you're looking pretty good today. Reporter: This is just the latest in a string of incidents involving school bus drivers allegedly driving under the influence putting kids' lives in danger. No! Reporter: 48-year-old Catherine Maccarone was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after surveillance video showed her behaving erratically behind the wheel. One of the students on board calling 911. Why do you think she's intoxicated? She's like wobbling and then her eye, you can tell she was Reporter: And just last I am so sorry. Reporter: This driver caught on camera allegedly impaired driving off the road into a ditch. Ten children who were on that bus screaming. Luckily no one was hurt. Now, in this latest incident Desiree Abrams has posted bond. She is out of jail. She faces DUI and child endangerment charges. When Abrams was arrested all the students had already been dropped off at their respective bus stops. Telling the kids they look great, asking their middle name. When she drove off and didn't shut the school bus door, I knew something wasn't right. Big clue. The kids are safe. Thank you.
