has taken the rap game by storm. She's had multiple platinum singles, created one of the most popular catchphrases -- "Hot girl summer." . Please welcome Megan thee stallion. I know, girl. I love that. Yeah. Hello. Hello. Your nails. You like that? Looking fabulous, but I expect nothing less. Those are beautiful. I love that. This first year has been crazy, Megan, for you. Let's take it back, how did you get into rapping? My mom was a rapper. So me being a little kid I would just watch her in her room and I really kind of thought everybody's mom was rapping. I thought it was normal. I mean, when I grew up I was just like, hey, I can rap, too. She's like, no, you can't. I was like, yes, I can. So when I started rapping for her she was like -- where did that mouth come from? I'm like, girl, you. A big compliment to her that you continued onhe legacy. Not only you're doing so well in the rap world, you're also a student, you're in college. You're getting a degree in health administration. Okay. How hard is it to do both? I mean, it's really hard. My schedule is crazy. But there are other women out there taking care of kids and working 9 to 5, graveyard shifts, I know a lot of people can relate to me. When you're going to school and you're really dedicated, you'll if I can your out a way to do it. I have to say, the way you put everything into a perspective right there, how life works, my ALMA mater, by the way, Tsu. Go tigers! What are you going to do with your degree? I want to open up some assisted living facilities in my city. That's so amazing. I watched my grandmother take care of my great-grandmother all my life. My great grandmother passed away at 87. My grandmother who's still alive is 67. Watching these two little old ladies take care of each other, I'm like, y'all need some help. When you first graduate from college it's rally hard to get a job. I want my facilities to be some of my classmates and other kids that are just graduating from college who need jobs. Let me give you that experience. One of the first things that I loved about you, how theatrical you are, you introduce these characters, a new persona you introduce. Tina snow. Hot girl. We got hot girl, who are these personas? Okay, I got a lot going on in my head anyway. So, hot girl meg is my party girl. All right. My college girl, you know -- hot girl meg. It was a hot girl summer. That's just like me being just unapologetic of who I am. Not caring anyone else's opinions. You can take it or leave it. So, Tina snow, I'm from the south, pimp c.'s, basically my version of him. How he makes me feel with music. He makes me feel so confident and so smooth. That's me. And Suga, is the new girl and she's basically just me letting everybody know that I'm not perfect and I know I'll be messing up some times. I'll be going through but getting it through it. It was me letting people know it's okay not to be perfect. Nobody told you to be perfect. You're not going to get it right the first time anyway. Just keep trying. That's where Suga is at with it.
