We start with the hunt intensifying for an inmate who escaped from a Tennessee prison. Authorities releasing a timeline from the day they say he killed a prison employee and went on the run. Marci Gonzalez joins us with more. Good morning. Reporter: Good morning. This is unnerving for the victim's family and people living in the area. Investigators say there have been no credible sightings of that inmate leaving them with little to go on as they urgently try to track him down. This procession through Memphis, the hearse carrying Deborah Johnson's body leaving the coroner's office as the manhunt for the man accused of killing her intensifies. He could be anywhere. Reporter: Curtis Watson was charging time for aggravated kidnapping. He was considered a minimum security prisoner and released for lawn mowing duties at 7:00 Wednesday morning. An hour and a half later he was seen driving a golf cart off pron grounds. Officials say it was there that Watson allegedly sexually assaulted and strangled the veteran prison official. Johnson's co-workers concerned when she didn't show up for work and going to her home at 11:30 A.M. And finding a cord around her neck. We don't understand -- I don't understand, you know, why. Reporter: By then investigators say Watson disappeared. Authorities finding the tractor they believe he used as a get away vehicle two hours later, two miles away. Now they say he could be anywhere. We're asking people in this area, across the state and neighboring states, please make sure you know what this man looks like. Reporter: This morning his photo on billboards across Tennessee. Law enforcement setting up check points urging residents to lock their doors and be alert. It scares you. You don't know where he's going to turn up or what else he's going to do. Reporter: Investigators saying despite getting 250 tips, they're no closer to finding Watson. The reward leading to his arrest is up to $50,000. Whit? Disturbing story.
