half hour with really an incredible moment caught on camera. Two young children escaping an alleged kidnapper. The children managing to jump out of a moving car as their great grandmother tried to chase the driver down. The family is now speaking out exclusively to ABC news and ABC's erielle reshef is right here with more. Erielle, good morning. Reporter: Good morning to you, Dan. This is truly remarkable video. This morning we're also hearing from that 8-year-old now being hailed a hero for saving himself and his sister from a near abduction. This morning, these two young children speaking out after their harrowing escape from an apparent carjacker. He started saying get out, get out. I thought chance was still in the back of the car and he then floored it and took off real fast. Reporter: Police releasing the stunning surveillance video from a medical center near Cincinnati. Watch as the door of this moving car swings open. Seconds later the two kids tumble out. On the left that's their grandmother Nita Coburn racing to the vehicle. I heard them scream and I ran to the car and I ran to the driver's side because I knew my grandbabies were in the car. Reporter: The 69-year-old telling police she had gotten out of the car briefly to help a relative inside. That's when 24-year-old dalvir Singh jumped in and sped off with the 8 and 10-year-old in the backseat. I was trying to get out. My brother went to go grab me, opened the door and went out. My brother fell out but the guy pulled me back in the car. Reporter: The quick thinking boy, chance blue, opens the door, managing to pull his big sister Skylar out as the suspect allegedly held her by her hoodie. What chance did was extremely heroic and shows how much he loves his sister. Reporter: Seen taken into custody blocks away. Police tell us Singh was under the influence of heroin and was taken to that hospital for treatment. He is now facing several charges including kidnapping and grand theft but police say that little chance will now officially be recognized for that heroic move. It is incredible. It really S the foresight an 8-year-old to grab his sister out of the car. Amazing. Perhaps saved both of their lives as well. How well spoken they are too. Erielle, thank you so much.
