First we want to get to the American sniper murder trial. As court goes back in session this morning. We are hearing exclusively from the family of Chris Kyle's killer finally breaking their silence. ABC has the story. Reporter: Accused murderer eddy routh never says a word. He rarely looks up but this morning his aunt is speaking for him in her first television interview. I still love my nephew no matter what he did. Reporter: She helped raise routh and she nows talk to her nephew from jail every week. His defense team says he has ppsd and was temporarily insane. Routh admits he shot them multiple times in the back. The mystery is motive. In court Friday this deputy testified he overheard routh say this in jail in 2013. I shot them because they wouldn't talk to me. I was riding in the backseat of the truck and nobody would talk to me. I'm sure they have for given me. During opening statements the defense attorneys revealed the two victims secretly exchanged text messages about routh. Sitting on his cell phone and he texts Chad Littlefield sitting right next to him. He text him this is straight up and down. And Chad Littlefield texted him right back. Watch your signal.
