Transcript for New dad Prince Harry heads to the Invictus Games
'Back to work and just three days after the birth of baby Archie at The Hague right now making an announcement about the invictus games. Will reeve is there with the hey, will. Reporter: Hey, George. Good morning. It's all about that work/life balance, right? Well, Harry the dad is just a few days into that role but Harry the royal, well, he's an old pro so after probably another sleepless night he's here in the Netherlands exactly one year to the day ahead of the 2020 invictus games, a cause, an event with great meaning to Harry the veteran. We're just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy. Reporter: Proud new dad prince Harry showing off baby Archie to the world. A little bit of facial hair as well. Reporter: Just three days after the birth of his son, royal duties call. Harry leaving the duchess and baby Archie for a day trip to the Netherlands. It's a quick flight, just an hour from home. Harry's in Holland to start the one-year countdown to the 2020 ivanka games in The Hague. I'd seen firsthand the transformative power of sports in helping people physically and psychologically recover and knew that the invictus games would change lives, capture hears and inspire a generation. Reporter: And a fitting gift for the first-time father from his host, princess margrete. This is his passion and creation and mark the fifth installment of the event. It features wounded service members and veterans in olympic-style competition. Invictus has become about the example of service and dedication our competitors have provided to the world. Reporter: Harry served two tours in Afghanistan with the British army and founded the invictus games as a way to honor those injured in the line of duty. The people I served with in Afghanistan and to see what they were doing on that field, if you know what I mean, not the field of sports but that battlefield, I just felt as though their stories needed to be told. Reporter: Back home his growing family await, Archie, Meghan, Meghan's mom Doria and even great grandma, the queen, who met the newest royal just yesterday. The fifth invictus games will take place right here in the Hague next may and congratulations have been pouring in from around the world to Meghan and Harry on the birth of their son, Archie Harrison mountbatten-windsor. A couple favorites, though, if you'll take a look, the Archie comics posting I'm baby and then the creator of the show "Riverdale" which is based on those Archie comics posting, best crossover ever. "Riverdale" goes royal. Guys. Made my family happy.
