Transcript for Holiday storms threatening millions across country
We want to turn to those holidays this morning. Millions in the path of two different storms this Thanksgiving weekend. Rob tracking all of it. Rob, good morning to you. Good morning, whit. Happy Thanksgiving. Travel is going to be an issue across much of the east. This storm which really impacted much of the country in the past two or three days is pressing east. Here's what it did in Jackson, Mississippi. One tornado being reported. See some of the damage. That line creating flooding rains across parts of new Orleans and typically an area that's prone to flooding obviously getting it there. That's pressed east and in through Atlanta and the stretch stretching up through the great Lakes and heading through the I-95 corridor so interstates will be tough driving up I-95. Ponding and push it back if you can a couple hours because this will clear out later on today. Meanwhile the front stalls across the south and flooding rains potentially across Houston and New Orleans. That will get itself together and make its way up the southeast across the appalachians and on Monday, Tuesday, this could be a big problem as we start the new week after the holiday for much of the northeastern third of the country. Janai, you know, my jacket was a little bit dirty so after the last hurricane I'm grateful for the rain. It's nice and clean now. You have been so busy, I was going to say thank you for being out in the coal and rain for us. I hope you get dry and warm later on. It may be Thanksgiving
