Transcript for Prince Harry reunites with Meghan, Archie in Canada
Back now with prince Harry reunited in Canada with Megan and Archie in their new home opening a new chapter as they move on from full time royal life. Adrienne Bankert is on the scene in Vancouver, good morning, Adrienne. Reporter: Good morning to you, too, George. Yes, a new move and a bold one. At the very least this is extremely symbolic. Prince Harry and duchess Meghan forging a new path, one that will have them spending a lot more time here in Canada and a lot less time in the uk. This morning, prince Harry seen arriving in Canada soon to be stepping back from his royal duties, one step closer to making North America a more permanent home. Harry now joins wife Meghan and his son who just hours before were seen out and about before announcing that come spring they will no longer be senior members of the royal family in a deal agreed upon with the queen. Meghan seen smiling bundled up walking the couple's dogs around a park. His flight comes just 24 hours after speaking out about the choice he says he made for his family, one he says he made with great sadness. The decision that I have made for my wife and I to step back is not one I made lightly. It was so many months of talks after so many years of challenges and I know I haven't always got it right but as far as this goes there really was no other option. Reporter: Some say they could see the shift for the duke and duchess coming in October. An itv documentary, Meghan revealed she'd struggled with the transition to royal life. I never thought that this would be easy, but I thought it would be fair. Reporter: Harry explaining the pressure he feels to shield his young family from the same public glare his mother, princess Diana, experienced over two decades ago. I will not be bullied into playing a game that killed my mum. Reporter: In 1995 Diana sharing a similar sentiment in a bb1 interview. If you find someone you love in life you must hang on to it and look after it. If you were lucky enough to find someone who loves that then you'll be protected. She warranted her kids to be free spirits and enjoy their life, find happiness but equally she was somebody that always did her duty. She always even through all her unhappiness would turn out and fulfill her obligations, royal duties so she was always someone who had respect for the crown in that way. I think she probably would be a little disappointed that Harry has thrown in the towel so quickly. Reporter: Still it's very early in this process so it's yet to be seen exactly what will happen next but we're technically still in a transition period with the couple. Come this spring, they will not be conducting any royal guys. That's going to be a change. Sure it. Thank you, Adrienne.
