We start this half-hour on a much more serious note. The vigil for a star high school rugby player shot and killed. Four teens charged in the case, including a cheerleader. ABC's Marci Gonzalez joins us with this story. Reporter: The victim was set to graduate from high school next week, shot in his front yard. But managed to give investigators crucial information just before he died. Overnight, friends and family celebrating the life of a Colorado high school student shot to death in an alleged botched robbery police say was carried out by classmates. Some of Lloyd Chavez's former rugby teammates honoring him with a moment of silence in disbelief over the circumstances of his murder. According to the arrest affidavit the 18-year-old agreed on Snapchat, agreeded to meet a classmate. The high school cheerleader admits she drove with three teenage boys with plans to steal the juice. A fight started and that's when he was shot. Only a few words that can cover an incident like this -- unimaginable is one of them. Tragic is another one. Senseless is another one. Reporter: The suspects then reportedly drove off and Lloyd was rushed to a hospital. Talking to a detective just before he was wheeled into surgery where he died. According to the affidavit, he was asked who shot him, and he stated "Kenny" saying he was a junior at his high school they were arrested and charged with first-degree murder. My son was a great person and all of you being here shows that. So thank you guys. Thank you. Reporter: Serrano disputed the claim that Kenny pulled the trigger, Gallegos due in court tomorrow.
