When it came to protecting himself, it was a mission he couldn't do on his own. The stunning veterans day transformation for a true patriot. Up until now, he had fallen on rough times. Jim wolf, a 54-year-old homeless veteran goes from this to this. We teamed up with a nonprofit group that helps the homeless and showed someone named jim wolf who has been struggling with poverty and alcoholism for decades. We show this video where he goes from down and out to someone that looks like they could be on the cover of "gq." Reporter: The video viral. Over 9 million views in just six day. We wanted to show people the potential that everyone has, even the people that look like the most downtrodden citizen. They have a lot of potential, too. ♪ Reporter: After three hours in the chair, a hair cut, a shave, and a new suit, wolf cease himself for the first time. His reaction is priceless. You see that spark in his eye. You can pick out the words he says. He says wow. He comes at me for the hug. He says thank you. Reporter: And this project goes beyond just a kip call cosmetic makeover. Wolf is already on his way to changing his life for the better. Right now, jim does have a roof over his head for a bunch of reasons. One, he's been approved for his own housing. He should be moving in in the next month. Who knows what is going to happen. He's his own man. He'll live the life he chooses to do. It's unacceptable that we don't at least start. Give him a chance to get on his feet.
