In Los Angeles the investigation into the murder of OJ Simpson's wife and her friend continued police were not talking in public they will not say with a mister Simpson is a suspect. But even as he showed his public respects for his ex wife it was difficult for some to forget that Simpson has not been ruled out as a suspect in her death. In part because he reportedly had threatened to killer before. She claimed that he had punched her and his character. And that he had threatened -- -- Deputy city attorney Robert tingle prosecuted a case in 1989 in which OJ Simpson pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of spouse abuse.
