Transcript for Winter storm brings rare snowfall to the Las Vegas Strip
I'm has made the sign here in Las Vegas or we are seeing historic snow it started snowing last night right around 5 o'clock snowed all night long all morning long and we're expecting to see more snow today. Some parts of Las Vegas thought this six inches of snow and forecasters tell us that this is the coldest February in fifteen years so. Absolutely I date for the record books. It's beautiful out here but is causing a little bit of chaos and they carry airport Southwest Airlines telling us at around eighty flights had to be canceled. Just in Las Vegas and that's just southwest so a lot of scrambling. Happening at the airport this morning also troopers working overtime making sure the roads are clear for people but it is it. Definitely beautiful out here in lots of people have been enjoying the snow today. But it is certainly is something that no one is used to seeing in Las Vegas for ABC news live on me as mean the sign.
