Would you say good morning turn out to be a busy one we begin with breaking news from Tampa and arrest in the hunt. First suspected serial killer. Hours after a tip led them to a McDonald's police have 24 year old Powell Donaldson in custody. The face first degree murder charges in four deadly shootings and police have not released too many details about Donaldson what we do know though. He was briefly a member of the Saint John's University basketball ball team back here in New York graduating. In 2015. Now two years later he's an accused killer. This morning a possible serial killer captured tonight. Goodness is one Tampa police announcing they will charge Powell Donaldson in connection with four murders after taking him into custody at the McDonald's where he worked. Investigators say a tip from one of his coworkers led to his arrest. We received some information. About mr. Donaldson. Had on a firearm at the McDonald's. One of his coworkers. Approached a police officer. Through our investigation. Several hours later. We will be charging Donaldson. And this exclusive video from ABC station to the FTS showing officers putting Donaldson in a police car. Investigators believe he's the same man spotted on multiple surveillance cameras. Near the scene of the murders all four victims shot at random at night during the early morning hours. While walking alone police received 5000 tips over the 51 day investigation and during that time the community lived in fear. With police on nightly patrols and the FBI.
