I'm Paula Ferris for ABC news live in Chicago we just spoke with Kathy Kennedy she's the president. Of Lucas films she says that they had hit it out of the park with the rise of skywalker. She talks about the direction of the Star Wars franchise after episode night. And tells us the one word she uses to describe the rights of skywalker. We were pretty stunned that we've been able to keep a secret ones include skywalker didn't. This two minutes rain but that might be a little too old lake cliche we're very careful to come up with a title that. Really and conjured up questions and didn't attempt to give you an answer settled its mission accomplished yes and then there could be a bit and you're one of the few people that has read the entire script. Can you me a word to sum it up hope. I think. Given what this represents in the three act structure that George Lucas created four years ago. I'm obviously this is seen opinion could vs evil. And there's a lot of conflict in this movie but I think where it goes with the resolution is is very hopeful that I think we need that right now. There's a lot of pressure. I'm this particular apps have. This is the climax. T think it's gonna live up to the height. I think it will absolutely won't have to learn from new. I think we evolved poured our heart and soul into making sure it lives up to the high minding the store is pretty but it is there an episode. Ten Tommy about the direction network you know we don't know quite yet we've got some ideas and we've got David Denny and Dan Weiss who coming off completely throws him there. Big debut on Sunday. And there sitting down with us in have been in talking about what this next saga with this next ten years might be. Obviously running time since involved in those conversations could still be doing some of that. We've we've got other filmmakers that we've been working with their going to be a part of this Jon Favreau who's doing the in the Lorraine for Disney plus. Lot of voices in the room right now because it's an opportunity for Star Wars to really figure out what this what the next. Big step is seen him it's exciting. In the huge opportunity for me another series right in the it'll be assigned to an important set out to make. Nine movies and whether this is nine or ten. It's a story and we're figuring out right now what is that next big story. The rise of skywalker will be in theaters this December I'm Pollock Harris a Chicago for ABC news live. The force be with you.
