Durant. She was watching game five on 26 when her son was injured. It was such a tough moment for fans and mama Durant who is here live with us. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. Thank you for taking the time for us. Thank you. So how is Kevin both physically and now. Emotionally, it's tough. Physically, he was down. He is having a tough time right now. But the love of our faith and family, we'll be okay. We are anxiously awaiting the mri results that will be coming in. You were watching on TV when it happened. I can't imagine what happened, what is going through your mind. Of course I was excited. He was doing so well and then when it happened, I just kind of sunk. Was glued on him. And glued on his eyes, to see how he was doing. And still, kind of hurtful to see, the anguish in his eyes. And he looked as though he looked dejected at that time. He tried to hobble ouch. Off. And I was thinking, don't do that. His teammates are there to help him. How soon after were you able to talk to him? I talked to him five to ten minutes afterwards. And he just told me not to cry. Because, you know, I know he worked so hard to get back to play. And he just told me he was going to be okay and don't worry. I know you need -- he needed to hear use voice. Talk me down a little bit. Both of y'all like that. I know you heard a lot of what is made about how some of the fans in Toronto reacted initially when your son was injured. That had to hurt. At the time, I didn't hear that. It was sigh tloens me because I was watching him. You're focused on him. Yeah, but when I heard about it, I was really hurt. Disappointed that that is the first heart because of something so horrific and because of the players in Toronto. Kyrie and Ibaka who I love so much. They quickly calmed them down. All is forgiven. And seeing the raptors players I do that. You know as well, a lot of people -- a lot of Monday morning quarterbacking going on. Saying should he have played? Even though it's not the same injury, a different injury than the initial one, many are questions whether he should have played. Did the warriors make a mistake? Did they rush him? It's still out right now. We don't know. He felt that he was able to play. And they said that he could play and so he still has to analyze that and see if, you know, they mads the right decision. It's kind of up in the air right now. How do you feel when -- he had been out for so long? Well, I was excited for him. Because I know how much he loves the game and I know he's been injured before. I knew he wouldn't jeopardize himself. So, you know, he told me he was ready to play. I said okay. There are some people that are blaming the warriors organization. They have been very emotional about it. And do you place any blame there? Well, what I say is that the doctors say that he is okay. Kevin couldn't have gone on his own to say I'm going to play. True. Without the advisement of the doctors. So they said he was okay. The possibility of him playing. This really quick. This is what you posted. A lot of people loved it. For all of you who question many son as a man, qi his heart, integrity, question his love of the game, you don't know him. He has heart heart of a true warrior. This too shall pass. God bless you all. Yeah, over the years, the last few years, there has been a lot of question about who he is as a person. It is hard for people -- his love for teammates. And his love for the game and it was really painstaking but because my son is an adult now and the NBA is his employer, I chose not respond but after they question him about an injury and faking a injury, and using the injury for his benefit, I thought that was really harsh. It compromised or talked about his character or integrity. I want you to know I have been hearing your words over the years. All the harsh, hurtful things you said about my son. You don't know who he is. To the fans all over the world who have sends us their prayers. Have contacted me over my social media. Sent charity responses. I'm just so grateful and our family is thankful. We are thankful to the lord and savior Jesus Christ who saves and for that, we have complete gratitude. I can see the tears in your eyes. Sorry. That's all right. You're a proud mama. You have fans right there. Yeah, thank you. They are playing for your son we will see what happens. That really warms my heart.
