Paula Faris is there at Buckingham palace in London and has the latest for us, good morning, Paula. Reporter: Robin, good morning to you. I'm holding seven British papers. This story is it on the cover of every single one of them. Contrary to some reporting, Thomas Markle was not uninvited from this wedding. ABC news learned Meghan Markle is devastated. She has been in touch with her father and is holding out hope that he changes his mind. This morning, a royal wedding shake-up. Meghan Markle's father Thomas has decided not to attend his daughter's upcoming nuptials. Overnight Thomas who was supposed to walk Meghan down the aisle when she marries prince Harry in just four days telling TMZ he is suffering chest pains triganaered by emotional upset and worried he might have a heart attack. This admission comes just hours after he allegedly admitted to staging photos taken by a paparazzo. The two seen in this video obtained by dailymail.com. Meghan is devastated by the news. Prince Harry's bride-to-be has been in touch with her dad and is still trying to convince him to come. Although it's considered unlikely that he'll change his mind. ABC news has also learned Meghan's mom Doria is also upset about the situation and the Paparazzi intrusion. Harry will, of course, be feeling responsible for this. He's often said in the past anyone he brings into his life is affected by the media scrutiny and attention that he has suffered since the day he was born and he'll, of course, be feeling that with the attention on Meghan's father right now. Reporter: TMZ says the Eller Markle told them over the last year he's been ambushed by Paparazzi shooting him in an unflattering light making him look disheveled and reclusive. He says he regrets the new pictures reportedly describing them as stupid and hammy. I have to say I am entirely the culprit. Reporter: All of this as Meghan's estranged half-sister Samantha is speaking out to itv. I merely wanted him to be seen in a respectable light. I didn't feel that was being done so I suggested that, you know, the photographers show him as he is doing positive things. Reporter: It was always a big request from Meghan in the first place to ask her dad to walk her down the aisle considering his many health problem, his reclusivety. It was expected should he not be able to fulfill them her mother would step in and walk her down the aisle. In a rare move a spokesman from kensington palace asking for understanding in the difficult situation. This morning she remains devoted to her father. She's still trying to convince him along with many others to make it to the wedding. All right, T you so much, Paula. We're going to bring in piers Morgan, editor at large for dailymail.com and he'll join us from London and, piers, you had a chance to spend time with her. How do you think it's affecting her. I would imagine, Michael, any bride-to-be this is the absolutely worst possible news, isn't it? Her own father who was supposed to walk her down the aisle will be watched by a billion people around the world is now not going to get on a plane there. I imagine she's utterly devastated. I can imagine that as well. And, you know, her sister Samantha has taken blame for those photos of her father and you actually spoke with her sister this morning on "Good morning Britain." You had harsh words for her. We'll take a look. He wanted to say no. They have an obligation, an ethical obligation to allow me to be portrayed as I am living a healthy lifestyle not caught in unflattering positions as media vultures had done. No bigger media vulture than you with this wedding, is there, Ms. Markle? How do you have the gall to come on here and talk about media vultures? You've just -- you're doing a book called "The diary of princess pushy sister." Piers, you're never one to mince your words. Do you think her sister has changed the tone of the wedding at all? I think the sister is making it worse every I'm she opens her mouth to be honest with you. You can't choose your family. I know that. But Meghan Markle's been particularly unlucky in having endless siblings coming forward to be incredibly derogatory about her and just blatantly rude calling her narcissistic and on the make and, you know, all these sort of things. I think they should all be quiet. You know it's now culminated in Meghan's own father taking money from a paparazzo to stage pictures to calm the world and create a false impression about him and it's all done in the week before his daughter's wedding. Why don't you all just be quiet and be dignified and think about the most important person here which is not you but Meghan who is about to walk down the aisle and marry a prince in this country which is a big deal. It's why the world's media is here. When it comes to Paparazzi, we know prince Harry has a strange relationship with the Paparazzi after the death of his mother princess Diana. You've known him for a long time. You knew Diana as well. How do you think he's handling all of this? Look, when the Sunday newspaper dropped on Sunday and had this extraordinary revelation that these pictures that we've been seeing for several weeks of Thomas Markle, you know, working out and looking at pictures of his daughter online in an internet cafe and looking at castles from great Britain in Starbucks and we were all like, isn't that sweet hen also a little concerned is he having his privacy invaded? Well, it turns out actually he was invading his own privacy and the difficulty here is that kensington palace, I'm sure, at prince Harry's own request had been issuing strongly worded demands to the media to say leave this man alone. He doesn't want any invasion of his privacy. Wants to publicity. They will be feeling very cheated. They will be feeling vy angry and Harry who still blames the Paparazzi for what he perceived to be their direct involvement in the death of his mother, he will see this as a complete betrayal. So although people want to try and, you know, feel empathy or sympathy for Thomas Markle I'm afraid I don't. I think he's behaved very stupidly, very selfishly. He's let his daughter down and if he really wants to make amends to her stop feeling sorry for himself and walks her down the aisle. The one thing I can tell you, Michael, about my country, is we're very forgiving of people's foibles and I think what would be far more unforgivable is if he now ruins her day by not turning up. Pier, thank you so much. We appreciate that. I think we all want the same thing. Want them both to be happy and have a very special day. Pier, thank you for your time. We'll have full coverage of the royal wedding, robin and I will be live from Windsor this week and robin and David Muir are anchoring live coverage of the royal wedding on Saturday. Excited about that. Absolutely. It'll start at 5:00 A.M. Eastern right here on ABC. I hope her father -- I hope it all works out. Yeah. I know she wants that. It would be the best for all. Coming up here troubling
