We're back with a healthy how to. Certain fruits and veggies are in season for summer so dietitian and nutritionist Maya feller is breaking down the best produce to buy right now. Thanks so much for being with us this morning, Maya. First, what should we know when shopping for leafy greens? Good morning, Eva. So when you're shopping for leafy greens, recently I've been getting so many in my farm box, kale is super abundant right now because it's the peak of the growing season. Cabbage pairs so well with kale in the summer months, it's got this great crunch and doesn't wilt. Good tip. Are there other veggies we should be trying right now? Definitely. Cucumbers are bursting from the seams. Also zucchini, super abundant so they're super affordable right now. I made this incredible seasonal salad of kale and cabbage. When you're thinking about other fruits, things like peaches, fantastic right now. Pomegranates will come later in the season. So will tomatoes. So interestingly enough, corn, delicious, delicious, delicious right now. Look at this incredible salad that I made with corn salsa. It's got tomato, mango, peach, a little bit of cilantro, onion, jalapeno, I mean the sky is the limit. So delicious. And that's not your average looking salad, boring salad with the boring dressing. That's so delicious looking. You look beautiful this morning. I love your summer outfit. Oh, my gosh. Thank you. I'm coming to you live and direct from my backyard in
