Why would we lie to you? Scan unload what you stole on someone else. We don't have anyone else. It wasn't that long ago you couldn't get the addresses and you made clear you think you deserve more than I pay you. Don't we. There you go. You made the choice to make it harder for yourselves and me too. Since I don't get the addresses, I can't follow up on this house you may or may not have hit. Can we take a moment to get on the same page here? That was a clip from "Echo boomers." It's based on a true story. The movie follows college graduates turned activist burglars who steal from the richto get back at the economy they deem unfair. Takes me back to my college days. Joining us now to tell us all about it, one of the stars of the film. Alex pettyfer, sir, it's good to see you. Thanks for being here. I have to start with congratulations. You just got married. You got married in a pandemic. How did that work out? We went to the registry office and signed some papers and, yeah, we got married. We didn't plan on doing it that way, but, yeah, it's -- it was a beautiful day. Congratulatns to you. I know that family is a big part of your life. You were born into a creative family. Your parents are actors. You're almost two years into starting your production company withour brother. What's that been like? Yeah, I mean, we've been very blessed, my brother and I. We started a company called dark dreams entertainment. "Echo boomers" is our first film. Really excited about the response we're getting. You said this is the first production for your company. The timing and the subject idea of some college students ealing from the rich. Tell us about that idea. How does that play into kind of 2020 in a lot of ways? You know, it's interesting for me when I read the script, one of the facts that I researched into is that student debt is one of the only debts that you live for for the rest of your life. I started to dive more into these -- I guess these characters who were, I guess, doing these crimes and the reasons behind them. When I spoke to Seth, he told me that these were all based on true stories. I found it fascinating. I found the -- I guess the commotion of everything going on and trying to fix it in a way that wasn't plausible is something that, I think, is being represented in 2020. Well, Alex, we know we'll see you again soon. We keep an eye on all the projects you're working on. We'll keep you coming back to "Gma." Congratulations -- the wedding was just October. Congratulations there and on the movie. Thank you very much. You can check out "Echo boomers" in theaters, on digital
