I ended up in a space where I was fired from several jobs. And honestly, technology kept me from being in the margin. People doing workshops on coding or the beauty business or on negotiate your salary or starting your freelance business. What is it like being able to marry your arts and your activism? What I'm trying to do is give everyone the shortcut. Just get great at something. Whatever it is, from the of success is where you -- your advocacy will be inevitable. So my thing is all I do is have to be great at what I'm doing. And people -- because they want to talk to me because I'm great. And as they're talking to me I'm like, and by the way, black trans lives matter. Black people of color gaining the spotlight as Elliott page made a simple but bold declaration. What was your reaction to Elliott Paige coming out as trans? I was like, the more the merrier. Come on. Come on over. But most of all, too, I thought to myself, oh, we've got a good one. We got a good one to the team. What would you say to that teenager out there right now who hasn't been able to muster up the courage to do that thing that seems impossible? Choose yourself. At all costs, choose yourself. The longer you live your life for other people, the longe this -- the joy is delayed. The longer the gifts that you have are delayed.
