Transcript for High winds, heat and powerful storms impact millions
First we begin with millions in the path of severe storms right now. Take a look at the scene on a beach in Delaware where 60-mile-an-hour winds sent she's umbrellas flying. Now, another round of severe weather is moving in. You know ginger will start us off with the latest. Good morning. We had ugly skies all the way from Georgia up to Maine and even here in Raleigh, north Carolina. You know when the plants are starting to go you better get inside. We had 145 severe storm reports that took down power lines. They burst into flames. This is morristown, New Jersey. Some reports of 75 plus-mile-per-hour winds within that. So, today, I do think we see that again. It'll be this area, Illinois, Iowa down to, say, Kentucky, even Cincinnati and this is just the beginning. Tomorrow it moves into new England. So keep an eye tomorrow afternoon anywhere from New York up through Vermont and even Maine again. George. Another tough one. Thanks very much.
