Transcript for Severe storms in the heartland, flash floods in Midwest
Now we have a new severe weather threat. The midwest to northeast bracing for possible twisters and flash flooding while the south faces triple digit heat. Ginger of course tracking the latest. Good morning, ginger. Good morning, robin. Ten reported tornados, more than 180 severe storm reports over the weekend. This is the plains of Colorado. You can see debris flying there. The funnel doesn't appear in this image to be touching the ground but there's plenty of damage to be talked about and I do think that today between that and flash flooding like they had in Little Rock, Arkansas, that was up to almost four inches, I think we're going to see it today. Iowa, northern Illinois, watch today, even central Illinois there, Peoria to Davenport included in the severe storms forecast but it's not just today. Throughout the day tomorrow from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey all have to watch for damaging wind and even an isolated tornado. Be careful out there. Ginger, thank you so much.
