Time for savvy shopping tips to save you big bucks this holiday season. Black Friday and cyber Monday have come and gone. With more than two weeks until Christmas, there's still plenty of time to stock up on gifts and take advantage of some deals that may be flying under the radar. Our Becky Worley joins us live to break it all down. Becky, good morning to you. And I understand this first tip actually put some cash back in your pocket. Good morning, whit. Yeah, using a cash back shopping app, the one I'm thinking of is called rakuten. When you start your shopping from their app, anything you buy nets you money back so they'll credit you on your PayPal account or they'll write you a check. Now, a second option, a cash back card like the Amazon prime credit card. Offers 5% back on everything you buy at Amazon and whole foods, pro tip, I did a ton of my Christmas shopping off what I've accumulated in credits all through the year. Starting out for next Christmas. Great idea. It's nice to get a little reward there. Amazon, Becky, also offering something else for the savvy shopper, and it could require some creativity, though. Right, that prime shipping right now is key because it's crunch time. But you can avoid paying the $119 annual fee by signing up for their 30-day free trial. But if you do that, make sure you put a calendar reminder to cancel on January 7th, 2020. Don't want to pay all year. All right, that's important. What about, Becky, those folks who are cutting it really close and are worried their gifts may not make it in time. No fear, no fear. A big trend is bopis. Buy online, pick up in store. Many places have curbside pickup too so you never even have to leave your car and go into the store. Super convenient as the shipping crush bears down on shoppers and if something on your list does have a shipping fee associated, you know this, shipping to the store is usually free and a pretty good way to void that cost, whit. I like that. That's do rnl -- doable. Last tip, this keeps everyone happy and fed all at the same time. That's right. If you give a gift card especially to restaurants, they give you a bonus for the giver so if you give $50 from restaurants like ruby Tuesday, Tony Roma's, chuck E. Cheese, you, the giver, get an extra $15 card for yourself so lots of great gift card promotions this weekend. Check them out. You know what, Becky, you're the bonus. Thank you so much. As always. Happy holidays to you. We will talk soon.
