Transcript for Was J. Lo and Shakira's Super Bowl halftime show inappropriate?
You know the super bowl performance with J. Lo and Shakira. Uh-huh. It ends up the FCC had received 1,300 complaints about J. Lo and Shakira's super bowl halftime show. What? Yeah. There were complaints across the country and people were talking that it wasn't a family-friendly performance. Yeah. Yeah. So one, I would just like to stop and remind people that this is what these two women do. So when they were booked for the super bowl -- Yeah. You turn on the super bowl, and they had been booked for awhile. If you don't think J. Lo or Shakira is something you would show your kid, make another plan for halftime. This is the business we're in. And 1,300 complaints, here at "Ssk." Just wait. That's a camisole. I'm joking. It was funny to me. It was funny to them too. I think in all honesty, people have a little bit of a bias when women embrace their bodies. For sure. It bothers me because I saw a meme and it compared Adam Levene and J. Lo and it pretty much said -- Oh wow. The same people complaining this year were loving it a year ago. Oh wow. I think we forget there are places globally where everyone walks around without a shirt. They can walk around. That's our natural being. We have sexualized women's bodies in a way that don't allow us to embrace what we are. To me, if that was offensive, then one, you have a remote control that has so much power in it. It can change the channel. Yes. Yes. And two, I just love reminding people on stories like this, quit being offended by everything in this world. You have options. We have so many places we can go. If you are feeling negative, go find a positive space. Don't take it out on the person in front of you. I rest my case. Yes, I love it. I love everything that you just said. I have nothing else to say.
