Ryan smith has the latest. Reporter: Adrian Peterson's skanl dal led to his benching last week, and he deserves to play, his team said. And new allegations surfacing, and he's speaking out. This morning, Adrian Peterson back on the field. The Minnesota vikings star expected to play next Sunday. The vikings taking heat saying he can play while he battles the abuse charge against him. I understand this is a difficult thing to handle. But we feel tropically as an organization that this is disciplining in a child. Reporter: Peterson speaking out for the first time since the scandal began, posting on Twitter, I am not a perfect parent, but I am not a child abuser. And no one can understand the hurt that I feel for my son and for the harm I caused him. Peterson raises the stakes, saying the discipline he received as a child helped him get to the NFL. I always believed that the way my parents disciplined me had a great deal to do with the success I enjoyed as a man. A Houston TV station reporting that he was accused in a separate incident involving a different son, after he had a head wound after Peterson disciplined him. His attorney telling us the investigation of another allegation is not true. It's not a new allegation, it's unsubstantiated and nothing came from it. Peterson, back in Minnesota, returns to team practices immediately. Monday, the vikings acknowledging they were made aware of an allegation from 2013 in which authorities took no action. And now the league appointing four women, including a vice president of social responsibility to oversee the domestic violence efforts. And in a memo, Goodell saying they will help lead and shape the NFL's policies and programs relating to domestic violence and sexual assault. All eyes are on roger Goodell. They should be. He's made a lot of missteps and he can try to correct those. Reporter: And overnight, a major sponsor taking action. The radisson, who's name was featured prominently behind the team official announcing the return of Peterson, saying they take this matter and are suspending, this is a quote, their sponsorship with the team while they evaluate the facts and circumstances.
