We are on top of the world this morning because we have the good fortune of spending time and celebrating our dear friend and colleague. Our tribute to Barbara Walters, as she bids farewell to an extraordinary daily on-air career. For years, she grabbed our attention with historymaking interviews. But tonight in ABC's special, our guest of honor gives us a never-before-seen look at her own story. In this clip, she talks about beauty with some a-list actresses. I was never beautiful. I would be called curt, attractive. If I was a dog, maybe they wouldn't have put me on television. But nobody ever put me on because I was beautiful or glamorous. Were you good-looking? Popular? No. We can talk a lot about my looks. I don't think I'm all that hot stuff. On a scale of one to ten, where would you put you? If I tell you, would you tell me? Yes. A nine. Do I have to tell you? You said you would. I would say, I am a -- probably a five, to six. The way you're able to, Barbara, through all these years, get so much out of people that we thought we knew. And would ask questions that we would want to ask them. How did you do that? I think I was just so curious, that the curiosity spilled over. I tried to ask the questions that the people at home wanted to ask. I know, you know, we've said that before. But I think I was able to do that. Where were you? On a scale of one to ten? I'm not answering that one. Shucks. What are you going to do on Monday? When it's all -- I don't know. Sleep late. Write thank you notes. I don't know. It's a whole new chapter that I look forward to. And that I'm a little scared of. Why are you scared? Well, because it's the first time I will have a life that's unstructured. What do I do with the rest of my life? Thank goodness I'm healthy. I'm knocking plastic here because we're cheap. We wish you peace and good health. Thank you. And a special about the special tonight, you open up and let us into your life. It's very personal. It is very personal. Barbara Walters, her story, airs tonight, 9:00 eastern on ABC.
