heroes and turning now to our "Gma" ultimate hero series and the inspirational story of a family who lost everything in California's valley fire. Somehow they found the heart to help out their community when it was needed most and then they got the surprise of a lifetime. A Disney vacation and ABC's Abbie Boudreau has more. Reporter: High school sweethearts bill and SHAWN Roderick are our ultimate heros from middletown, California. 'Principal and she's a teacher, an adviser at middletown high. People are still talking about their incredible act of selflessness. Last September the valley fire, one of California's biggest, the rodericks lost their home. Blovengings, everything. To only have literally clothes on your back. Reporter: 90 students and many on staff lost their homes too. But the rodericks with literally only the clothes on their back took charge. Helping the kids and their families with financial aid. Clothing donations and hugs. Despite heartbreak. Seniors who had plans for their senior year and trying to tell them, it's not the end of the world. Reporter: The rodericks and daughters Tory and Taylor are still living in an rv as their home is rebuilt. Bill and SHAWN even turned down donations and gave them to the kids instead. They just only cared about the school. They put everything else on hold. Reporter: So moved by their commitment to their students and their school, we at "Gma" thought they deserved a break. We at "Good morning America" are sending you on vacation to Hawaii. No way. Oh. Reporter: Off to Alani a Disney resort and spa tucked away in the land of sunshine and paradise. Aloha. Reporter: With the traditional arrival. Very relaxing. Reporter: The lazy river and rainbow reef were highlights and the first stops on their selfie tour. Sailing out in the very blue ocean. Hold it. Reporter: Dining on local specialties. Wow. My goodness. We haven't been able to be a family since the fire happened. Reporter: New dreams, new memories for a family's new beginning.
